About Our Name Stamp

How do I use my Name Stamp?

- Press your stamp evenly onto the ink pad, without applying excessive pressure.

- Test your stamp in a less visible placement first to ensure the correct amount of pressure and ink is used. You may even like to test it on paper first.

- Place the clothing item on a hard surface. When pressing your stamp onto the clothing item please apply even pressure, do not rock the stamp from side to side.

- Your Name Stamp ink will be damp after applying, please avoid contact with other fabric items to avoid the stamp transferring. We recommend allowing the stamp to dry overnight before washing or wearing.

- To avoid ink build up on your stamp, please clean with a damp cloth or designated toothbrush after use. You can also put your name stamp in the dishwasher!

What materials can I stamp on?

We’ve tested our name stamp on many surfaces. Most cotton and elastane material types have worked very well with our Name Stamp. Some materials like ‘wool’ work well when the weave of the material is very tight & smooth. Any items with surfaces that are highly textured (not smooth), shiny, glossy, thin or plastic are best tested prior to stamping in a visible space.

Is the Name Stamp washing machine & dryer safe?

Our Name Stamp can be used in the washing machine and dryer. Please follow the care instructions for the clothing the Name Stamp has been applied to.

How long does the Name Stamp print last on clothing?

The Name Stamp can typically last up to 60 washes, depending on the fabric and how often the garment is washed.
